Other Characters: None currently, I am the former Doyle from Angel the Series.

Character Name: Vergil Sparda
Series: Devil May Cry (All but the reboot mixed together to fill gaps)
Age: He looks early 20's but is clearly much older.
From When?: After his death in Devil May Cry 1.

Inmate: Vergil is not all in all a terrible man. He is just on a darker path. He does not see his cause will destroy everything he set out to protect, and destroy everything he aimed to do with the power he fights so hard to obtain. He is no mass murderer but he has no problem slaughtering people if they get in his way. The key point with him is anything in his way is going down. He started out with a noble cause and feel from grace. Now, I bet your wondering why I am rambling about his cause. Well, a warden could help a lot by opening his eyes. Making him realize his faults. He could be so much more if someone cracked through that icy shell and made him see that not all humans are terrible.

Item: Hahaha, nope

Abilities/Powers: Of course he wont be able to Devil Trigger on the barge. And everything else is watered down.

Personality: Vergil Sparda started out a normal boy, he was born to a happy family, be it a strange one. His father was the legendary demon Sparda, and his mother was a sweet woman named Eva. Vergil was a twin, the elder of the two by just minutes but he took to his roll with all the pride he could. Afterall, walking in the shadow of a demon like Sparda how could you not grow with pride? While Dante followed their mother Vergil was constantly to his father. The boys were close together and looked out for one another until just before they turned eight years old. Their father vanished, sealing up the demon world to protect his family. Only the seal only worked so well. The king of hell sent demons after Sparda's family just after the boy's eighth birthday. Eva was murdered in cold blood and the boys thinking the other dead were separated by different reasons. Dante's was survival, Vergil's was vengeance.

Vergil buried childish things when his mother died and he grasped Yamato and fled their home in pursuit of the demons that killed her. At all of eight years old he had his mission that he would devote and obsess his life on. As he grew he grew cold and distant from people. His mission in life to get stronger to protect those he loved. While at the same time pushing everyone and everything away from him. He grew to resent his family, his father's weakness for the love of human's, his brother's weakness to everything. As he learned years later that Dante was not only alive but living under another name. It made life easier for him if he just hated everyone, everyone but the woman who gave him life and died for him and his pathetic brother.

Eva was constantly his reasons. No child should have to see their parent mutilated like he had. Even if he had no intention of ever breeding it did not erase the chance it could happen. If he passed on the blood of Sparda by god he would be stronger then his father and protect his spawn unlike his father. Due to the dark path that Vergil took he ended up growing with a colder outlook, a more realistic view and closer to the mindset of the demons. Demons are stronger, and strength means you can protect. Everything comes with power. And he is VERY power hungry. Enough to the point that he eventually did track his brother down a few times to steal Dante's half of their mother's heirloom the Perfect Amulet to try and open hell to steal Sparda's power. Constantly belittling his brother for being weak.

Vergil has forgotten how to show he loves someone without sarcasm or bitterness laced all over him. This is showed every time he and Dante interact. Dante is a natural joker while Vergil is cold and calculated. The twins are polar opposites and even still after the time apart it is clear that Vergil still loves his brother despite the anger. He just does not know how to show it outside of violence and brash comments that would hurt most normal people. He needs to learn to express himself more. And in a non-violent way.

But in the end it was he who fell into hell, not Dante. After his fall he became something else. A blank slate, Nelo Angelo. The black Angel. Under Mundus' mind control Vergil had no memories of his life before working for the man. In his life all he had wanted was power, and when he got power it was no use as his brother not realizing it was him cut him down killing him. He could feel nothing as Nelo Angelo and had no real thoughts so there is not much to offer here outside of a decade or more of his life was lost in that control, it was death that set him free.

Barge Reactions: Vergil is not going to like the barge one bit. Granted the world he is from he has seen a lot of crazy shit so he wont bat his eyes too much at some of the floods and breaches. Some of the life changing ones will likely push his nerves but he will deal. What choice does he truly have? AS it has been a LONG time since i was in this game I will use some of Doyle's old CR to explain how he will react to other fandoms and such. Vergil would get along swimmingly with someone like Dean Winchester, older brother who have gone to hell to protect their baby brothers? Yeah. Seriously. And hatred for demons killing Mama? They got that. Then there is someone like Iris, she would confuse him completely with her playful madness. He would not know how to react around her outside of his normal cool gaze but he would find her fascinating. The more innocent a character the more Vergil will watch over or belittle them to try and make them gain strength to protect themselves. Even with his own power drastically reduced he would spend a bit of his time sparing with others to try and regain his power.

Path to Redemption:
Triggers
- Violence towards innocence.
- Anyone trying to use him to their means. if he notices
- Violence to women/mothers.

Ideals to help
* Be understanding of his pride.
* Make him look at how he has pushed his humanity aside and his parents would never have approved of that.
* Maybe even point out what is the point of power if you have no one to protect.
* Put him around innocent people without much power to draw out his need to be honorable.
* Make the man be social, he would do better with a few talks.

Deal:Yeeeeah hes an inmate

History: He's...complicated

Sample Journal Entry: [ A slow rhythmic tapping can be heard as the video feed kicks in. A pair of ice blue eyes staring into the camera. short white hair messy around his face and he looks horribly unamused. His voice is rather flat and cold.]

I once watched a movie about a man who woke in a word where he did not belong. His memories all astray and he had to piece it back together to understand the puzzle he had fallen into. It was a fascinating piece, a waste of my time but fascinating all the same.

Why is this stranger telling you of some movie that he can not even recall the title of? Simple, I wonder if maybe that is what is happening here. For I did not fall asleep here, and as I have been to hell already I know this is not hell. So, can someone fill me in. I wont claim to be thankful but it would save me the trouble of venturing out idly converse with someone just to find out. Can we cut the foreplay and someone simply tell me what this is. I have a migraine and I care not to deal with humans at the moment.

Sample RP: Vergil had wandered his way up to the deck, standing with his arms folded behind his back he simply looked out at the night sky the view was rather magnificent. He could give them that much. Of all of the views he had seen this was one of the best. It did little to move him but he did find beauty in it. It had been so long since he felt the cool air of the night on his skin.

Having woke up alone in that room without the constrain of the mind control that Mundus put on his defeat in hell. So long with the blank slate it was odd to be able to feel the wind and it not be because of a battle. He could tell there were people around, but he did not feel like dealing with others at the moment. He was still gathering his baring as it were.

There was a whirlwind inside of his head, between coming to grips with the fact he had not only failed his mission to defeat Mundus and ended up becoming his slave. Then to be defeated by his brother and dying. It was all a bit much to bare at the current second. He knew he if spoke too much he might let out things he did not wish to speak. It was not his wish to be emotional but some things were hard to not easy to ignore. Pushing his thoughts away from the last memories he had from the place his thoughts trailed on as the stars moved around the barge.

Idly he wondered what the idiot Dante would do if he woke up in a place like this... Knowing Dante he would have hit up the bar, ordered a pizza and beer and kicked his feet up. Made nice with the locals as such, but Vergil knew he could never live that life. He had no interest in it. The idle chit chat of drunkards amused him far less then the stars did at the moment. He knew sooner or later he would have to speak to someone besides on that blasted network. Though if he could put it off he would, maybe he could venture and find a library in this place. Something to fill the idle hours.

Special Notes: Whoever his warden is, just know he will raise ten kinds of hell until he gets his Katana back. I expect some time in zero over this.
