Souji is a warrior in his own right, and though Vergil lied at first about not knowing about the group the man comes from, he did indeed know who Souji is SUPPOSE to be. It paints an image of a much fiercer man. He has come to learn that Souji is soft, but can spill blood as well as any warrior he knows.
Sometimes he cant understand Souji and it irks his temper and makes him lash at the man. At times though, he really likes Souji, but then something happens and pushes his temper again.
